ALLELUIA: Holiday Concert and Carol Sing-along!

Dear GHOSTLIGHT family,

One of our favorite holiday traditions is sharing Christmas music with you all at the beautiful Church of St. Luke in the Fields. Our sixth annual program, this year entitled ALLELUIA, is fast approaching. We hope you'll mark your calendars for December 14th at 7:30pm and get your tickets soon—the concert has filled up in recent years, and so far we’re on track to sell out!

This concert is particularly special as it not only marks GHOSTLIGHT’s tenth season but also coincides with the release of our first studio studio album, PEACE. The program itself spans from sixteenth-century pieces by Palestrina and Victoria to contemporary works by Whitacre and Cohen, with choral gems that explore the varied meanings of “Alleluia,” including expressions of celebration, jubilation, praise, prayer, motivation, reflection, and meditation.

The pieces are sure to sparkle in the church’s joyful nighttime ambiance, and the program culminates in a sing-along of beloved Christmas carols and—for the first time ever!—the Hallelujah Chorus, all followed by a festive wine and cookie reception.
